I have not checked the time personally, but I didn't consider the time in this issue because the computers will work and not work sporadically, and I cannot see what would cause the time to jump that often.  However, I will add it to the list of things to check next time we get a call.

I didn't see it in your list of troubleshooting steps, but did you
make sure that the date/time on the computer is correct. We get
certificate revocation errors every so often and the issue is almost
always incorrect time. The only other time we had it was when a
student thought they would be more secure by deleting all of their
trusted root certificates......LOL
