Hello all :)

I just wanted to say THANK-YOU to those who attended the events last night!  Also, here are a few announcements and activities ALAS will be involved in until the end of the semester:

ANNOUNCEMENTS: 
Interested in joining the exec board?  We will have two spots available because Vini (Web Master) and Mary Ann (Publicity) will be studying abroad next year.  Please send me an email if you either want to join exec or nominate someone.  Elections will be held on our last General Body Meeting of the semester (Tuesday, December 1st)

USHLI:  Applications are due Tuesday, December 1st (Last GBM) for the 2010 Conference (Feb. 18-21) 

ACTIVITIES/EVENTS:
Tuesday, December 1st:  Last GBM of the semester at 7pm in 336 Shriver 

Thursday, December 3rd: Presentation on Brazilian music by Professor Thomas Garcia (Department of Music) followed by an authentic Brazilian dinner, 5pm-Presentation, 6:30pm-Dinner,  Shriver Heritage Room 

Tuesday, December 8th:  Global Holiday Party 2009, Heritage Room of Shriver, 6-8pm 

Thursday, December 10th: Latin American Night, Heritage Room, more info to come!
