I agree...Netbooks are more and more popular and I believe most come with Windows 7 Starter. Not to mention that Dell, Acer, and others also can come pre-loaded with Ubuntu or a flavor of Linux. That's probably the next battle once Christmas is over for us to have students that got Netbooks complain about Cisco's support options.

We are entertaining looking at Bradford and others just to see what's out there...Our 3140's are already EOL and it just seems like Cisco keeps digging themselves a grave more and more...

That's disappointing. Considering the number of netbooks being sold with it preinstalled now.

I am actually reading through the 4.7.1 RN and it states that windows starter versions are not supported.

Subject: NAC Release 4.7.1 - Windows 7 Starter

I've noticed several machines running Windows 7 Starter that are failing to work with the new NAC agent. The message the agent gives is "Agent user operating system is not supported".

Other Windows 7 machines have been working fine.

Has anyone else seen this?
