Stopped at the Pymatuning Lake causeway today to check out the
waterfowl. The goldeneye drakes were putting on courtship displays for
the hens.
Canada Goose, several dozen
Mute Swan, 1
Canvasback, 1m
Redhead, 2m
Common Goldeneye, 5m 2f
Bufflehead, 1m
Ring-billed Gull, 13
Snow Bunting, 5
At Padanaram, a pair of Bald Eagles is occupying the nest which is
visible from the boat launch.
