I couldn't find the possible Western Sandpiper at Pickerington Ponds Blue Wing Pond or the Stilt Sandpipers, so perhaps they have left the "building". There were numerous shorebirds there including a nice look at a Wilson's Snipe, Short-billed Dowitcher juv., Pectorals, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, Spotted Sandpipers, Solitary Sandpipers, Semipalmated Sandpiper (2 adult 1 juv), and many adult Least Sandpipers with a couple juv. in there too, also Semipalm. Plovers. Still a good time and things are always on the move, who knows what we'll see tomorrow?
Good birding,
- Ben Warner
