I visited the boardwalk at area M of Hoover Reservoir yesterday evening
and found that the mudflats there are developing nicely. Before darkness
cut my birding short, I was able to observe Least, Solitary, and Pectoral
Sandpipers, Semipalmated Plovers (2-3 each), and many Killdeer. A more
thorough search in better light will likely turn up more species and
individuals.
