Students: Many of you remark that Career Fairs cater mostly to students with
business majors. Read on for an opportunity to learn about Nielsen, a
diverse and well-regarded international esearch company that is specifically
interested in chatting with journalism (and related) students the evening
before Career Fair of Sept. 22. Thanks to Miami grad Sue MacDonald, a
long-time Cincinnati Enquirer reporter who is now research manager for
Nielsen-McKinsey Co. for forwarding this opportunity. -- PGN

_____________

Nielsen is involved in recruiting, and we're working closer than ever
before with Miami this year. Nielsen is the world's leading marketing and
media company. We provide the most comprehensive understanding of how
consumers get information, consume media, and buy goods and services.

We have a long-standing recruiting relationship with Miami, but we think
there's a significant opportunity to improve that relationship outside of
the business school. We recognize the value in having a workforce with a
diverse set of experiences and ways of thinking. To that end, we want to
increase the number of non-business school students who apply to Nielsen --
and so are hosting a pre-night for the Career Fair with a session targeted
to non-business school students. It will be in room 127 of the Psychology
building at 6:30 on Tuesday, September 21st.

And, of course, we'll be at the Career Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 22, and we
would like to meet plenty of non-business students then.
