Yesterday morning while sitting in my living room high above downtown
Columbus, I observed a female kestrel fly to just outside the window at
about 8AM. It stayed there long enough for me to observe the familar
falcon-styled wing shape and then it disappeared.
Later, at about 12:15 PM , along East Broad in Bexley near Cassady Ave., I
observed a large, female Sharp-Shinned hawk on the sidewalk ,perhaps
waiting for unwary prey to arrive nearby.
Lastly, at about 12:50 pm, a Cooper's hawk was observed at a distance just
south of Town And Country Plaza.
