The OSU Ornithology Class birded the Olentangy Wetlands in Columbus again
this morning. We didn't have much luck locating many migrants, but still
managed a few highlights, including:
Yellow-throated Warbler - In the riparian forest
Yellow Warbler - By the large pond
Merlin - Perched by the river near the northernmost bike path bridge of the
wetlands.
Blue-gray Gnatcatchers are becoming increasingly numerous, and Tree Swallows
were visiting some of the new nest boxes in the wetlands.
