There was one uncooperative Nelson's Sparrow along the west edge of Wake
Robin boardwalk today, 1 p.m.. Many Swamp and Song Sparrows, with
White-throated, Lincoln's (2), and Indigo Bunting, Goldfinch, female
Red-winged Blackbirds. Also: Horned Grebe (2), Wood Duck (2), Sora, Sedge
Wren, Marsh Wren, Brown Thrasher, Nashville Warbler, Yellow-rumped Warbler.
Headlands: Hermit, Swainson's and Gray-cheeked Thrushes, Yellow-bellied
Sapsucker, dozens of both Kinglets, Magnolia Warbler, several Brown
Thrashers.
