No luck on the Ross' Goose sighting at the location on Prairie Lane where
it previously was found.
Lots of open water immediately surrounding, so I can imagine it may have
made a short-range move.
Wayne County big year got a big shot in the arm:
#60: Great Horned Owl just before 6:30
#61: Eastern Towhee
#62: Cooper's Hawk (two, in an epic battle over a mourning dove carcass)
#63: Northern Pintail
#64: Green-winged Teal
Still missing some should-be-easy ones: Common Grackle, Red-breasted
Nuthatch, Rusty Blackbird, Pine Siskin....hoping for just one more to round out
January at 65....
