Amazing place for new and experienced birders. 42 species in less than 6 hours. Highlights include: Red-headed woodpecker Pine warbler Eastern phoebe Double-crested cormorant Pied-billed grebe Greater Scaup Bufflehead Hooded mergansers There are birds everywhere. Only got out of my car for the water birds. You can find the complete checklist from today's trip on ebird. Just look for red-headed woodpecker for the current year in Ohio and click on the marker for Clean Lake (just southeast of Caesar's Creek). [...]44_21Mar201321:50: [log in to unmask] |
