A lone Red Knot was the shorebird highlight at Lorain, this evening. It was joined by a smattering of other common shorebird species. After some warm temps this week, Lorain is again showing some flats and shorebirding potential. It appears that some sort of "work" is again set to commence here, as there are some earth-moving vehicles are once again on the scene.
I posted a photo of the knot, and other recent shorebirds at http://northnw.wordpress.com/
Good birding!
