I had an adult California gull along the lake abou8t a mile east of Fairport
Harbor. I was doing some survey work with Ann Bugeda and Tom Koritansky
just west of our Lake Erie Bluffs Park. There were a large number of
herring gulls in this location. I also saw a second year glaucous in the
same area.
I was at the Lake Erie Bluffs Park west of the Lane Road entrance yesterday
(12/2) and had a white-eyed vireo. The bird was in some dense brush and was
accompanied by several golden-crowned kinglets and a yellow-rumped warbler.
Directions to Lake Erie Bluffs can be found on the lakemetroparks.com
website.
