This morning, Chia and I watched an immature Long-tailed Duck at Eastlake Power Plant in Lake
County. It would dive many times and not come up for at least a minute. Also present were large
numbers of Canvasback, Redhead, Bufflehead, Common Goldeneye, Common & RB Mergs, and Coots.
Smaller numbers of both Scaup and Black Ducks, plus a juvenile Eagle.

Lastly, the Eastern Screech-Owl hanging out in a nesting box at Chagrin River Park was still present
this morning.
