I went to Sims Park in Euclid this afternoon. I had limited time as my husband was with me so I left the scope in the car. There were lots of Red-breasted Mergansers on the lake, many Common Goldeneye, a few Bufflehead and Horned Grebes, few Bonaparte's Gulls and more Double-crested Cormorants flying by. I went up on the bluff overlooking the lake on the far east side and there was one Hermit Thrush up there with a Fox Sparrow. Another Fox sparrow the west end of park with approx. six Northern Flickers and an Eastern Towhee.
