Ahoy
Castalia is a Lifeboat for Winter birding. We work a lot in Erie and Ottawa counties When Erie freezes we take 269 S off 90 to Castalia The center of town Turn Left at Bank East About 1/2mile on Left side Perfect blue water Only about 3-4 acres. Never freezes Many good ducks in Winter A lot of mutt ducks and geese come to beg. I never went in June It’s not really heated Just soo deep If you like photography the water is perfect almost glass like
good luck
