The spring season's first morning flight passerine count at Edgewater Park in Cleveland was hampered by heavy fog and unfavorable wind direction, but a handful of migrants were observed, dominated by blackbirds, grackles, a Horned Lark, two Killdeer, and a Merlin. The longshore gull flight turned up an overhead Glaucous plus 40 Great Black-backed Gulls. The Cuyahoga River front Scranton Road Park north to Shooters held many large gulls, including one each Iceland and Glaucous Gulls.
