I’ve been making a point of going out in the evening to count the robins coming in to
roost in the fields behind my house. (Mainly low growing shrubs, buckthorn, and apple trees.)
A very rough count, but somewhere in the vicinity of 2000 birds came in, in just
under half an hour. 7:50pm to 8:20.
