While searching for the Long-billed Dowitchers (which we never found) Dick
Hoopes spotted this tawny colored Eagle in a dead tree in the middle of the
area. I posted several pictures here
(https://www.flickr.com/photos/85567104@N05/) in the hope that someone could
help us determine if this is a light-colored, juvenile Bald Eagle as some
have suggested or a Golden Eagle. Any help is appreciated.
The feet are bright yello but we could not see far up the leg.
