This afternoon, Dick Hoopes and I happened upon each other on N. Marginal Road at Gate 13 looking for a snowy owl at Burke Lakefront Airport.
Could not find one, but we did enjoy watching an adult male harrier cruising for rodent cuisine along the north runway. Also had a male kestrel perched on an antennae. After Dick and I parted ways, I did see an immature harrier on the wing as well; a larger bird, presumed to be a female.
