While doing my Breeding Bird Survey route in Williams County this morning,
I found a Blue Grosbeak on Country Rd. H, just west of County Rd. 12. It
flew onto a power line and sang briefly before flying north. I could not
relocate it.
It also seems to be a particularly good year for Dickcissels in the
county. I found them at five separate locations along my route.
