Continuing. found monday i believe. I thought they would fly
off! But found again Tues. So off I went today. More than likely
would get for my big year in migration, but why miss a chance to
see! Plus I keep a monthly chart.
Best viewed from Osborn Ave. They are far. Scope useful!
Am told they do occasionally come over to right
across Osborn Ave. Feeding i guess. They roost as a group
on the north side of the tiny island in the lake.
Armleder - Hamilton - is closed. I am learning about flood levels on the
Ohio River. Doesn't look good for me and Armleder in the spring!
It's not the birds, its the inat big year. Silly me for choosing a
floodplain.....
I'll see what I can do on the days when it is open. I have a new app on
my phone now - River Levels. Covington is bookmarked.
Good birding all!
