And other birds. Jen joined me at the Adams county state park. Beautiful
area! I look forward to hitting that again in a month. Purple Martins
back. Foy for me. Feeding over the lake with the Tree Swallows.
Chipping Sparrows singing. Etc. Lots of RH Woodpeckers there.
Felt like Rowe Woods!
I hit the Ohio River Bluffs hotspot heading home. And since I didn't research
ahead of time, not a clue where to hit there. Next time! The pin was just along
the road shoulder. Perhaps its a hawk watch spot or something. I need to
look into that spot.
The chilo lock 34 park. Thats where I had the House Wren.
I will look into March House Wrens. That would raise
flags in NJ. But didn't come up rare in ebird. Good! Because I am the world's
worst pic taker..... My only idea of timing is ebird and what I know from NJ.
Species are slowly returning. Tues. and Wed. will be close to my house.
In between a lot of errands.
Good birding all.
