Hello,
I was going to make a morning of trying for Least Bittern in Butler County,
but got sidetracked yesterday afternoon chasing the Buck Creek sp Avocet!
Ohio bird! I kept getting reports of some much further away..... so I jumped at
this opportunity. I was surprised it was still there! It looked healthy. People
swimming and walking near the spot.

So after errands today that should have been done yesterday, It was the heat
of the afternoon already.... I thought maybe Lost Bridge needed a check. Stuff
is wandering. No shorebirds. No unusual herons. No gulls or terns.....

The quarry area had a lot of water. All this rain we have been getting.

Good birding all.
