Very low numbers of birds compared to when I was there last! Birds move
around there. I don't know the access points to all the gravel pits in the area.
Some warm spring day I will walk the RR tracks. 

11 Canvasback still there. A Red shouldered hawk flying low was nice. 

I went off to Kentucky afterwards. Working on learning what I can of the
state. Loads of Mallards! 

I am going to hit Armleder quick. Molly and John - our friendly local
hummer parents! - had Pipit there near the canoe launch. Would be
a county bird for me! As would that elusive Herring Gull.....
