I only had 2 1/2 hours this late afternoon - the Eurasian Wigeon is 4 hours
rt driving! Plus time scanning! I am hoping it sticks. I can chase Monday
after a dentist appointment.......

There's too much water around. Gulls and waterfowl were all over that flooded
field at rt. 50 and kilby. I couldn't do much while driving! Lost bridge itself - a couple
miles away - was slow. Everything is out on flooded fields! I took a drive through
Shawnee - birded the road. I shouldn't say slow for there as I had good numbers
of sparrows in the open, shrubby, weedy areas.

1 tree
36 WT sparrows
7 song
1 Swamp
6 Towhees

I never did get to any winter owl exploring down here. Maybe the fall!

This coming week will be the Wigeon if still reported. Some woodcock
searching and listening. Maybe Brookville dam for the crane show. And
a Skunk Cabbage search!

Good birding all.
