I hit that field at Kilby and Rt. 50. Quick. Not much time today. I was going to
scan Lost Bridge, but just had to bird this field! Driving down Kilby I can see
all those gulls...... And some ducks. Rt. 50 does have a fairly wide shoulder,
and I didn't notice any no stopping or standing signs, so I pulled over. And
scanned from my car. What am I after?? A Hamilton Herring Gull..... Some year...
I hope this field stays wet - could be good for shorebirds.
I scanned Lost Bridge very quickly later. Not much. Waterfowl must be out
in the flooded fields.
Good birding all.
