Slow. That’s all I can say! Andrew and I hit these 2 hotspots this morning.
Radar was all lit up last night! Must have been Waxwings and goldfinches
Which were everywhere in good numbers this morning. Send a Connecticut
This was Peggy!
It got fully overcast right after dawn down here, so no nice sunny edges
For a while.
Highlights - Tennessee, Parula, Common Yellowthroat, Redstart, Blackpoll,
Chestnut sided. And in low numbers….. Andrew had a Nashville that I couldn’t
Get on. Stuff is around.
My highlight was flycatchers. Pewee, loads of Phoebes, Least.
Butterfly notes - they were actually flying in the Long branch cloudy conditions.
Monarch, skippers, Dainty Sulphur.
