Mary C. And I hit spots in the county. The snow lasted longer than predicted.
Normal! I was hesitant to travel far - just in case slippery roads. So didn’t get
To the reservoirs. A couple productive spots after hitting dead spots -
Lost Bridge. Three Bonapartes gulls! No Herring……
Well, if I miss in Nov. it jumps up to number three on my needs list for Dec.
After Shortie and WW Crossbill. Hmmm….
Fernald is loaded with waterfowl. Might not last long though with the freeze up
Coming. And three Tundra Swans on the weapons pond - they flew in - so might
Be moving and not linger - we’re a county bird! Yea!
Nature notes - I expect that Fernald area to be frozen soon. The temps for
Down here starting Wed. Are cold to say the least.
