The reserve was quite lovely with about 3 inches of snow this morning. Not many birds but I enjoyed seeing a pair of Pileated Woodpeckers, one of which was excavating possible nest hole.
Cardinals singing.
Mallard pair. Small group of grackles. Heard a Towhee & WB Nuthatches. Song & WT Sparrows. TVs. Crows.
O/w just the expected titmice, chickadees & Carolina Wrens.
