I started at Marie Hickey then Dillon Wildlife area. The weather was starting to turn but I made brief visits to the paved trail at Blackhand then the lock trail. Started to rain sporadically on way home so timing good. Not a lot of bird activity but a couple FOY. No raptors, just TVs.
One of those days where warblers were easier to hear than see which is frustrating. But I picked up FOY N Parula and Yellow. Had glimpses of flying away from me Parulas but Yellow (at Dillon WA) was heard only. Heard several La Waterthrushes & a few Yellow-throateds. Saw Yellow-rumpeds at Marie Hickey. N Parulas were singing at every spot but staying v high & always across a ravine or river from me... Cowbirds, Red-wingeds & Grackles at all stops.
