     I have never done anything like you suggest, but it sounds like a
     good idea.  However, what about students "cooperating" on the answers
     since these are "for credit" exercises?
 
     Our computer system has a program called PASS that is designed for
     doing what you suggest.  Although I have not used it, I know some of
     the Business Communications profs use it a lot.  They also use it for
     self-testing (not-for-credit) in their courses.
 
     I will be interested in following this topic, and contributing when I
     can.
