I am still having some problems getting logged on to 4999. A lot of times, the
handshaking process
just kinda stops. My term software reports it's still trying to get the
connection, but nothing
happens. After a couple of minutes, I just get a NO CARRIER. All my friends who
use the system have
been having the same problem.

Sometimes if I call right back, it happens again, sometimes not. Could it be
there is still a bad
modem?

Regards,
Bob
