Actually -- no, not at all. I run a UNIX server over in Laws that
has a class on the Gandalf, and I am almost always the only user on the
system. It doesn't have a high load at all (mostly a network information
server, so virtually everything is a background process), and performance
when coming through the Gandalf suuuucks.
The Gandalf is a BIG part of the speed problem.
