Re Dan's comment on spelling:
 
For me, spelling errors trigger a feeling of cold ice on sensitive
teeth--especially when legal terms are the victims!
 
Let's have some fun with "Can you top this?"
 
There are the old standards:
 
     breech for breach
     principle for principal (and the other way around)
     casual for causal
     assult for assault
     privy of contract
 
But some are unique like,
 
     the "male box rule" !!!
 
 
Then there are the students who write:
 
    "The defendant is liable for torting the plaintiff."
    "The case was reprimanded"
    "The plaintiff received disparaging treatment under Title VII."
 
And please remember, "I" before "E" except in...
