As far as I can tell, this appeared to be a problem originating at Ohio
State. I think it is fixed now. Has anyone seen this problem recently?
The problem came with the way OSU sends us NEWS. Lots of articles are put
together in the same file and are seperated by a line that looks like:
#! rnews 12345
where '12345' is the number of characters in the article. The problem was
that some articles were truncated. Therefore the system would grab the
first 12,345 characters in the file assuming they were all the same article
when really there were several articles, the first of which was truncated
before the 12,345 characters were completed.
