Me, too. Night before last, I noticed that as I dialed in from my Linux box,
it was taking forever to connect. So I dialed in from an ordinary phone, and
got nothing. Tried again, and got nothing. Tried again, and got a carrier
signal. So I tried dialing in from my Linux box again, and connected just
fine.
Might there be a bad modem in the pool?
