I have learned that there were some changes to the NDS on Friday that could
be affecting you. Reports from some users indicate a definite performance
slowdown in connecting to the NDS. Since the NDS is used to authenticate
PPP connections, this could result in timeouts when using PPP and may be
the cause of the problems you're seeing.
