Actually, an email message was supposed to go to the users of VAXShare
explaining this change. John Harlan was working on this. I'm wondering if
this information got "lost in the mail"?

We apologize for not getting the information about this change to you.

This change was made to support the volume of MACSETUP users we have (we
were getting close to hitting an AppleShare protocol limit). This new
implementation (which new MACSETUP users have been using since around
February) should provide faster startup time and gets us around some of the
AppleShare limitation we were seeing in the old configuration.

Actually, it would be John Harlan, in this case. I think you have.
