I received a notice in the mail about an open business law position
with a request for help in getting the word out. I figured this is
the best way. I will retype the short announcement below, along with
a few extra items from the "long version." Anyone wishing to see the
long version, send me a note and I'll get a copy to you. OK, here
goes.
Fort Lewis College's AACSB accredited School of Business
Administration seeks applicants for tenure track assistant professor
starting 8/97. Responsible for teaching a variety of undergraduate
law and general business courses. Required qualifications:
J.D./M.B.A.; minimum 2 years proven teaching excellence; scholarly
activity and community service. Send letter of application, vita,
transcripts and 3 current references (postmarked by December 15) to
Dr. Roy Cook, SOBA, Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive, Durango, CO
81301. FLC is an AA/EOE. Women and minorities are encouraged to
apply.
The long version mentions Assistant/Associate Professor. A
description of the college says it is part of the State of Colorado
higher ed. system and is a 4-yr. undergraduate institution. Eight
hundred of the total enrollment of 4400 are business majors. There
are 26 (of 176) full-time faculty in the business school. The school

I'll hang on to this stuff until Dec. 15 in case anyone wants more
info. I don't know why the mailing came to me, but thank goodness
for email as a quick way to get to the membership.
