Does your home contain any non-working appliances like
toasters, blenders, vcr's, telephones, computer components,
timers, radios, Walkmans, vacuum cleaners, electric razors,
humidifiers, etc etc that you know you'll never have time
and/or money to fix? How about recycling them by letting 10-
12 year old girls deconstruct them to see how they (used to)
work.

The Society of Women Engineers' annual "Take Apart a Toaster
Day" is March 8 at the University of Cincinnati and we're
looking for donations of small appliances for our
participants to disassemble. Get started on your spring
cleaning early and e-mail me before March 1st if you have
something to contribute.

Thanks for your help.
