Please provide your thoughts...

1) Let's focus on applied sociology in general for a moment. As we move
closer to the year 2000, what is your vision for applied sociology in the
next century? That is, what will sociology, specifically applied sociology,
"look like," how will it change, what will sociologists be doing in the next
century? Let's take this in time increments:

1a) Over the next ten years:

1b) By the mid 2000's?

2. Given your vision for applied sociology, what should be DONE, what action
can be taken, to move applied sociology in this direction?

2a) Over the next ten years:

2b) By the mid 2000's?

3. Finally, what are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
that face applied sociology -

3a) Over the next ten years:

3b) By the mid 2000's?

SAS thanks your for your thoughtful input!
