To:  Summer and Fall  MTH 115 or 116 instructors
 
When should the transition to Long & deTemple take place?
 
There are currently two sections of MTH 115, and these students will
need to take 116 -- most likely this summer or next fall.  I believe
that our usual practice has been to phase in the new textbook with
115 and 117 in the fall and 116 the following spring.
(The Math. Ed. Committee could decide to do otherwise.)
 
Please let me know if you do not agree with the above practice.
