Several years ago we tried to get our Legal Environment of Business
class approved as a General Ed course, but were unable to do so due
to opposition mainly from our colleagues in the College of Business.
We then sought to have a 100 level course called "Personal Business
Law" approved and were successful in doing so. Unfortunately, we
are unable to teach more than two sections a year, because we are
understaffed. I believe that if we were allowed to develop the
course, it would become a very popular and useful one for students.
Our course sounds quite similar to the Consumer law course that has
been approved elsewehere.
