I've been using Brusaw, Alred, and Olin's The Concise Handbook for Technical
Writing. New York: St. Martin's Press, 1996. ISBN: 0-312-13315-4
I like it because it is concise without being verbose. And at $17.00, it's a
bit cheaper than many of the huge tomes that you might find with other
publishers.
