You wouldn't really expect--would you?--that all those neo-utilitarians
(read, ethical egoists) would actually take the time and effort to apply
Bentham's variables for "Measuring A Lot of Pleasure and Pain" (intensity,
certainty, fecundity, propinquity, and all that)? Maybe Microsoft will
write some software....
