SOA Archives Week Poster Contest

Enter a design you created using images from your institution's collections that demonstrates this year's theme - "Ohio Political Memory in the Archives."

Ohio's Archives hold many treasures related to politics and political activism. These treasures encompass a broad spectrum of materials ranging from presidential elections, civil rights, labor and unions, war time protests, and many more. As seen in the 2004 election, Ohio plays an important role in the politics of the United States and evidence of this can be found in its archives.

Archives Week Poster Guidelines:
1. Design must be submitted on a CD as a PDF file in grayscale with one other color element, i.e. red lettering of the theme.

2. Poster must include: "Archives Week"; "Ohio Political Memory in the Archives"; "October 9 - 15, 2005"; the SOA Logo; and a photo credit (name of the repository creating the design).

3. When folded must fit into a 9" x 12" envelope.

4. The phrase "Archives Week" must be legible from 10 yards away.

        Submission Deadline - March 28, 2005
