Dear listserv members: Do any of you have collections that have a lot of "mixed" non-print media, such as reel to reel tapes, audiocassettes, films, phonodiscs where your container lists for such collections are online? I'm trying to find examples of how the locations of these kinds of records are described (e.g., if I have audiocassettes that are housed in an archival box and I want to describe cassette #1, I might write the description as Audiocassette Box 1 (1)). Please respond to me directly. I will be happy to summarize responses for the list, or send them to any interested parties. Thanks -- Burt Altman, C.A. Special Collections Dept.
