EXHIBITION ANNOUNCEMENT

The Vassar College Library is pleased to announce its current exhibition:
"Albert Einstein: Life and Letters, 1905-1955."

SCOPE

The exhibition celebrates the Einstein Year of 2005.  It features the
Morris and Adele Bergreen Albert Einstein Collection, which was recently
acquired by Vassar.  A variety of original materials are on view.  The
Franklin Delano Roosevelt Presidential Library in Hyde Park, NY also
contributed items.

DATES

February 1-May 4, 2005

RELATED EVENT

On March 29 at 7 p.m. in Taylor Hall on the Vassar campus, Peter Galison,
the Mallinckrodt Professor of the History of Science and Physics at Harvard
University, will deliver a lecture on "Einstein's Clocks, Poincare's Maps:
Empires of Time."
